The children were put into groups for the projects and were allocated a different weather type. The children then went home and researched how their weather type was caused and other information about it. They then brought their weather research into class and worked with the members of their group to put their work together into a presentation and posters to present to the class.

The children then went onto making different items that were linked to their weather e.g. anemometers for wind, rain gauges for rain, thermometers for temperatures, etc.

Finally, we looked at climate zones around the world, where they were, what each zone was like and looked at biomes. We also wrote explanation texts explaining our weather types.
