To celebrate World Book Day this year the children will be able to enjoy a range of activities through the week.

Christmas Jumper Day at The Ryde
We are pleased to be taking part in Christmas Jumper Day—but with a difference!
Instead of buying a jumper why not recycle a white, red or green T-shirt or jumper and make your own!
Willow trellis activity
As part of Outdoor classroom day, 18.5.17, some of the parents joined us in our outdoor learning.
Bat Talk and Walk at The Ryde School-September 2017
Roger Harvard from the Herts and Middx Bat group visited the school with some injured bats he looks after to give an evening talk and lead a Bat walk in the school grounds.
Macmillan Coffee Morning at Acacia Mews
On Friday 9th September 12 children from Classes 5 and 6 visited Acacia Mews to share the Macmillan coffee morning arranged by them.

The children have settled back into school and their new classrooms very quickly. It has been lovely to see the children so enthusiastic about their new topics. We have been pleased to welcome our new Reception Class chil-dren into The Ryde School along with new members of staff.
